The Legend of 1900 (1998)

On the first day of 1900, a newborn boy is found abandoned aboard the ocean liner SS Virginian. A boiler-room worker named Danny Boodmann takes him in and gives him the name Danny Boodmann T.D. Lemon Nineteen Hundred, after himself, the crate where the child was discovered and the year of his birth. Raised entirely at sea, 1900 grows into an extraordinary pianist and begins performing with the ship’s orchestra, while the world beyond the liner remains unknown to him.
