Chasing Mavericks
Young surfer Jay Moriarity is determined to take on Mavericks, a notorious break off the Northern California coast where the waves reach extraordinary heights. To prepare for the challenge, he turns to Frosty Hesson, an experienced surfer who has mastered Mavericks but promised Christy, the woman he loves, that he would stop putting his life at risk. Jay’s persistence eventually leads Frosty to train him, creating a demanding mentor-protégé partnership focused on one of surfing’s most dangerous challenges.
