Copyright and Rights Requests

What you can report

Use this process for concerns involving:

• copyright or related rights;
• trade marks or passing off;
• privacy, personal data or private information;
• image, likeness, publicity or personality rights;
• impersonation or false affiliation;
• missing or incorrect attribution;
• unlawful or seriously harmful content;
• another legal right connected with material on Watchmora.

Use the ordinary Content Report form for a simple factual or catalogue correction that does not involve a legal right.

Information to include

Provide:

• your name and a reliable way to contact you through the case workflow;
• whether you are the rightsholder or an authorised representative;
• the specific Watchmora URL or material concerned;
• a clear description of the protected work, right or person;
• the legal or factual basis of the request;
• the action you request;
• supporting evidence reasonably necessary to assess the claim;
• a statement that the information you provide is accurate and submitted in good faith.

If you act for another person or organisation, include evidence of authority where reasonably necessary.

Do not send passwords, private keys, unnecessary identity documents or unrelated personal information.

What happens after a report

Watchmora may:

• acknowledge the case and request clarification;
• preserve relevant evidence;
• temporarily restrict material where the risk justifies it;
• check source, licence, attribution and account records;
• contact the uploader or affected contributor where appropriate;
• correct, attribute, restrict, remove or retain the material;
• reject a claim that is incomplete, unsupported, abusive or outside scope;
• keep a limited audit record for legal, security and repeat-abuse purposes.

The outcome depends on the facts, applicable law, available evidence and the rights of other people.

Counter-information and appeals

Where appropriate, a contributor or affected person may be allowed to provide counter-information or appeal a decision. Watchmora may restore material if the original claim is withdrawn, shown to be mistaken or otherwise no longer justifies restriction.

An appeal does not guarantee restoration.

Urgent matters

Clearly identify an urgent safety, court-order, privacy or active-security risk in the form. Do not falsely mark an ordinary dispute as an emergency.

Watchmora is not an emergency service. Contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority where immediate physical safety is at risk.

False or abusive claims

Do not knowingly submit false statements, fabricated evidence or claims intended to silence lawful criticism or disrupt the service. Abuse of the reporting process may result in rejection, preservation of evidence and account action.

Repeat infringement and account action

Watchmora may restrict or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously submit infringing material, taking account of the evidence, context and fairness of the process.

Data protection complaints

If your concern is specifically about Watchmora’s handling of personal information, use the Data Protection Complaint form. That process includes acknowledgement within 30 days and investigation under the applicable complaint procedure.

Contact route

Submit the request through the Copyright and Rights form. The public site does not expose the operator’s private residential address or private destination mailbox.
