In Los Angeles, 23-year-old DJ Cole spends his days working on the track he believes can launch his career while spending time with his friends. His routine changes after he meets James Reed, an experienced and charismatic DJ who takes him under his wing and introduces him to new opportunities. Cole then begins falling for Sophie, James’s girlfriend, putting his growing friendship with his mentor and his ambitions in music at odds.
