Charlie St. Cloud
Charlie St. Cloud is a gifted young sailor whose plans for college and a life beyond his quiet Pacific Northwest town disappear after the death of his younger brother, Sam. He takes a job as a cemetery caretaker, where Sam’s ghost appears to him each night and keeps him tied to the past through a promise Charlie made years earlier. When Tess Carroll returns to town and Charlie begins to fall in love with her, he must decide whether to remain devoted to his dead brother or make room for a future of his own.
