The Flowers of War
In 1937, American undertaker John Miller arrives at a Catholic church in Nanking to prepare a priest for burial. The Japanese assault on the city traps him there with a group of convent students and women from a nearby brothel, making him the only adult man among them. After posing as a priest, John has to protect both groups and find a way to get them to safety while the violence reaches the church.
