The Captain
In the final weeks of World War II, German deserter Willi Herold comes across an abandoned captain’s uniform while trying to survive. He puts it on and begins passing himself off as a Nazi officer, discovering that the uniform gives him authority over soldiers and civilians who accept his rank without question. As others gather around the supposed captain, Willi must maintain the identity he took on by chance.
