Stalingrad

During the Battle of Stalingrad, Lieutenant Hans von Witzland commands a German platoon caught in brutal fighting on the Eastern Front. After Soviet attacks leave the unit with half its soldiers and place the survivors under a sadistic captain, von Witzland turns against his orders and leads Corporal Fritz Reiser, Sergeant Manfred “Rollo” Rohleder and their comrades toward escape. With the city surrounded by the Soviet Army and winter closing in, the soldiers must find a way out while their unit collapses around them.
