The Catcher Was a Spy
During World War II, former major league baseball player Moe Berg is recruited by the Office of Strategic Services for a mission in Europe. His knowledge, language skills and ability to keep secrets make him useful as an undercover operative, but his assignment is far removed from the baseball field: he must enter Nazi Germany and determine how close physicist Werner Heisenberg is to developing an atomic weapon. Berg is then expected to either remove Heisenberg from the program or stop his work by any means available.
