Eleanor Riese, a patient living with mental illness, challenges the rules of a psychiatric hospital after competent patients are denied a say in the medication they receive. She decides to bring a class-action lawsuit seeking the right to accept or refuse their treatment. Lawyer Colette Hughes takes on Eleanor’s case, and together they face the legal battle needed to make that right recognized for other patients as well.
