Philadelphia
Andrew Beckett is a successful lawyer whose employers dismiss him after learning that he has AIDS. Believing the firm fired him because of his illness, Andrew asks Joe Miller, a lawyer who initially rejects the case, to represent him in court. As the lawsuit moves forward, Joe must confront his own prejudices while challenging the powerful firm and its claim that Andrew was dismissed for professional reasons.
