Winter of The Braves
In Ukraine in the winter of 1918, brothers Andrii and Oleksa Savytskyi find themselves drawn into the defense of Kyiv as Bolshevik forces advance toward the capital. While both brothers fall in love with Sofia, the country’s political crisis brings them to the Battle of Kruty, where they join a small group of students and young cadets facing a much larger, heavily armed army. Their family story unfolds alongside the fight for the Ukrainian People’s Republic.
