Unknown Soldier
In 1941, a Finnish army machine-gun company leaves its barracks for the front of the Continuation War against the Soviet Union. Its first attack takes place in marshland, and the soldiers soon advance into East Karelia, crossing the old border lost during the Winter War. As the campaign continues, the company captures Petrozavodsk before being sent to defend the Svir River against a Soviet winter offensive, while the men face the changing demands of a war that lasts until 1944.
