The Trial of the Chicago 7
In 1968, anti-Vietnam War activists gather in Chicago to protest during the Democratic National Convention, but the demonstration ends in violent clashes with police. Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman and five other protesters are brought to trial, where their defense attorney William Kunstler confronts Judge Julius Hoffman in a courtroom shaped by political tension. As the proceedings continue, the case becomes a dispute over protest, authority and the right to challenge the government.
