The Rising Hawk
In 1223, Mongol forces led by Khan Burunda reach the Carpathian Mountains after destroying settlements on their westward march. During the night, several local hunters enter the camp and free its prisoners, provoking the khan to target the mountain communities. Zakhar Berkut, leader of a small group of Carpathian hunters, begins organizing a plan to stop the much larger army and defend the villagers’ freedom.
