The Professor and the Madman
In the mid-19th century, professor James Murray takes on the demanding task of compiling the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary. His work changes direction when thousands of word entries arrive from Dr. William Chester Minor, a patient at Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum. Murray begins corresponding with Minor and must reckon with the remarkable contribution coming from a man confined within the institution.
