The Prestige
In turn-of-the-century London, illusionists Robert Angier and Alfred Borden begin as colleagues competing to impress the same audiences. Their professional rivalry grows into a bitter struggle for supremacy, and each becomes determined to uncover the other’s methods while creating more astonishing tricks of his own. As secrecy and deception take over their contest, the feud starts to endanger the people around them and demands increasingly serious sacrifices.
