The Green Mile
In a 1930s Southern prison, death-row supervisor Paul Edgecomb oversees the inmates awaiting execution on the Green Mile. The routine changes when John Coffey, a physically imposing but gentle prisoner, arrives after being sentenced to death. Paul soon discovers that Coffey can heal illness through a mysterious gift, forcing him to question the condemned man’s fate and his own role in carrying out the sentence.
