The Brutalist
In 1947, innovative architect László Tóth leaves postwar Europe and starts over in the United States, hoping to restore the career he lost. After his wife, Erzsébet, joins him, the couple settles in Pennsylvania, where a wealthy and demanding patron offers László an important commission. As he works to realize the project, the patron’s expectations begin to reshape both his professional plans and the couple’s life in their new country.
