The Majestic
In 1951, Hollywood screenwriter Peter Appleton loses his studio job after being accused of communist ties. A car accident leaves him with amnesia, and he arrives in the small California town of Lawson without knowing who he is. Harry Trimble, the owner of the Majestic cinema, mistakes Peter for Luke, his son who was lost in the war. While the town welcomes him back, Peter must try to recover his memory and determine where he belongs.
