Risen
After Jesus is crucified in Jerusalem, Clavius, a powerful Roman military tribune, is ordered to investigate the disappearance of his body. Working with his aide Lucius, he follows the evidence to determine what happened and to challenge reports that Jesus has risen. Their inquiry is meant to stop rumors of a Messiah from provoking an uprising, but the search soon leads Clavius beyond the official Roman account of the crucifixion.
