The Girl in the Fog

When sixteen-year-old Anna Lou leaves home for the church on Christmas Eve, she disappears before reaching it. There is no body, sign of a struggle or reliable witness in the isolated Alpine town, so the case seems to offer little for investigators to pursue. Agent Vogel, a celebrated specialist in catching serial killers, arrives to lead the search, but his methods and the attention surrounding the investigation soon make the girl’s disappearance more complicated than a straightforward missing-person case.
