The Invisible Guardian

Inspector Amaia Salazar returns to Elizondo, the Basque town where she was born, after the body of a teenage girl is discovered beside the Baztán River. A similar killing from the previous month suggests that a serial murderer is at work, but local rumours point instead to the basajaun, a legendary invisible guardian. As Amaia investigates, she must separate superstition from evidence while confronting the unresolved secret tied to her childhood and the place she never wanted to revisit.
