The Body

When the body of Mayka Villaverde vanishes from the morgue, police inspector Jaime Peña is assigned to investigate the unexplained disappearance. He works with Álex Ulloa, Mayka’s widower, whose knowledge of her life may help clarify what happened. As the inquiry develops, the missing body becomes only one part of a mystery involving identity, infidelity and possible poisoning, leaving Jaime to determine whether the case began before Mayka’s death.
