Australia
English aristocrat Lady Sarah Ashley travels to northern Australia to take charge of the vast ranch she has inherited, only to find its future threatened by a takeover scheme. With the estate’s cattle and workers at risk, she joins forces with the rough stockman known as the Drover and sets out to move 2,000 head across the unforgiving outback. Their journey unfolds as prejudice, suspicion and the approach of World War II make protecting the ranch increasingly difficult, culminating in the Japanese bombing of Darwin.
