Wag the Dog
With the presidential election approaching, an accusation of sexual misconduct threatens the president’s campaign. Crisis adviser Conrad Brean turns to Hollywood producer Stanley Motss, asking him to create a convincing distraction for the public. Together, they stage a fabricated war and build its television narrative, but keeping the story alive requires increasingly elaborate performances and political manipulation.
