Thank You for Smoking
Nick Naylor is a charismatic spokesman for the tobacco industry, skilled at presenting arguments that make smoking seem less straightforward than its critics claim. When a senator launches a campaign to restrict cigarettes, Nick becomes the public face of the industry’s defense and must use his talent for reshaping the truth under growing scrutiny. At the same time, he tries to remain a role model for his 12-year-old son, Joey, while the methods behind his career become harder to separate from his family life.
