The Thinning
In a post-apocalyptic society, high school students must pass an aptitude test that determines who will be allowed to continue living as part of a strict population-control system. Blake Redding and Laina Michaels begin to question the rules when the test appears less reliable than the authorities claim. Their search for the truth exposes signs that the exam is only a cover for a broader conspiracy tied to the society’s idea of merit and human worth.
