The Girl with All the Gifts

In a post-apocalyptic England, young Melanie is held with other children in a secure military bunker while scientists study the infection that has turned most people into flesh-eating monsters. She appears to be an ordinary girl, but her intelligence and unusual connection to the fungus make her central to Dr. Caroline Caldwell’s search for a cure. When the bunker is no longer safe, teacher Helen Justineau, Sgt. Eddie Parks and Melanie leave together, forcing them to face the infected world beyond the facility and decide how Melanie can help humanity survive.
