Battle Royale

In a future Japan, ninth-grader Shuya Nanahara and his classmates are taken to an uninhabited island and enrolled in the government’s Battle Royale program. Under the supervision of their former teacher, Kitano, the 42 teenagers receive weapons and are told that only one of them can leave alive after three days. Shuya tries to survive alongside Noriko Nakagawa, but the rules turn every classmate into a possible enemy and force the students to decide how far they will go to resist the game.
