The Smashing Machine
In the late 1990s, mixed martial artist Mark Kerr is building a reputation as one of the sport’s strongest competitors while aiming to become the best fighter in the world. His growing success brings intense pressure, and opioid dependence begins to interfere with his career and personal life. As Mark prepares for major bouts, he must deal with addiction and a volatile relationship with his girlfriend, Dawn Staples, while trying to remain in control outside the ring.
