The Fighter
Micky Ward is a professional boxer whose career is held back by a string of defeats and the demands of his troubled family. His older half-brother Dicky Eklund, a former boxer now training him while struggling with drug and crime problems, is meant to guide his progress, but his influence often complicates Micky’s life both inside and outside the ring. As Micky tries to rebuild his career, he must decide how much of his family’s support he can accept while pursuing a place among the sport’s best.
