The Lost City of Z

British officer and explorer Percival Fawcett joins an expedition into the Amazon to survey an uncharted region. There he finds signs of a sophisticated civilization that European scholars insist never existed, turning the discovery into a dispute he cannot abandon. With the help of his aide Henry Costin and the support of his wife Nina, Fawcett returns to the jungle in search of the city he calls Z, while the demands of exploration draw him away from his family and later into the turmoil of World War I.
