Kon-Tiki
In 1947, Norwegian explorer and anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl sets out to test his theory that people from South America could have reached Polynesia before the arrival of Europeans. To prove it, he builds the Kon-Tiki, a raft made from balsa wood, and crosses the Pacific with five companions. The voyage soon becomes a struggle against the open ocean, where the crew must face isolation, sharks and the uncertainty of reaching their destination.
