The Electrical Life of Louis Wain

In 19th-century Britain, artist Louis Wain struggles to support his family while pursuing his unusual interests, including invention and drawing. His life changes after he falls in love with Emily, a relationship that brings him personal support as his playful cat pictures begin to attract public attention. Through these drawings, Louis challenges the way people view cats and turns them into the subject of a distinctive new artistic world.
