Secondhand Lions

Introverted teenager Walter is left on a Texas farm with his eccentric great-uncles, Hub and Garth, while his mother Mae looks for a way to move on. The two aging veterans prefer their secluded life and show little interest in raising a boy, but Walter soon becomes curious about their unusual stories, their rumored fortune and the lion kept on the property. Mae also asks him to discover where the uncles keep their money, drawing him into a situation that changes the way they live together.
