One Life

In the late 1930s, British stockbroker Nicholas Winton travels to Czechoslovakia and sees Jewish children facing the consequences of the Nazi invasion. Convinced that they must be brought to safety, he returns to Britain and works with Doreen Warriner and others to arrange their evacuation. As war approaches, the effort becomes a race to secure documents, transport and foster homes for the children before the borders close.
