La Haine

Following a night of riots in a deprived Paris suburb, three young friends—Vinz, Hubert and Saïd—wait for news about Abdel, who was seriously injured during a confrontation with the police. With the neighborhood unsettled and little to occupy them, the friends move through the city while anger over police brutality continues to grow. Vinz is also carrying a revolver he has found, turning their restless day into a tense struggle over what to do next.
