Good Morning, Vietnam
In 1965, Adrian Cronauer arrives in Saigon to serve as a disc jockey for the Armed Forces Radio Service. His lively broadcasts, sharp humor and rock ’n’ roll selections quickly make him popular with American troops, who welcome a break from the station’s routine programming. However, Cronauer’s style clashes with his superiors, who expect him to follow military rules and keep his jokes under control. As he continues to speak to the soldiers in his own way, the radio station becomes the center of an argument over what they should be allowed to hear during the Vietnam War.
