We Were Soldiers
In 1965, Lt. Col. Hal Moore takes command of an air cavalry battalion sent on a special operation in Vietnam. When his unit lands in the Ia Drang Valley, the soldiers find themselves surrounded by a much larger force of Chinese troops and fighters from the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam. As the battle intensifies, Moore must lead his outnumbered men through the fighting while keeping his promise to bring every soldier home, dead or alive.
