Darkest Hour
In May 1940, Winston Churchill takes office as British prime minister while Nazi forces advance across Europe. With the country under pressure and other politicians urging caution, he faces a decision that could determine Britain’s course in the war: negotiate with Adolf Hitler or continue fighting despite the possibility of defeat and the collapse of the British Empire. Churchill must decide how far he is prepared to go when both choices carry grave consequences.
