Black Mass
In 1970s South Boston, gangster James “Whitey” Bulger faces pressure from an Italian Mafia family moving into his territory. FBI agent John Connolly offers him a secret partnership: Bulger will provide information that helps the bureau target its rivals, while the agency looks the other way at his own criminal activity. With protection from the FBI, Bulger expands his influence through violence, racketeering and murder, leaving Connolly struggling to control the informant he helped create.
