Welcome to the Sticks
Philippe Abrams, a post office administrator living in Salon-de-Provence, wants to move his family to a seaside town on the French Riviera because his wife, Julie, has been depressed. His attempt to deceive an inspector backfires, and instead of the desirable transfer, he is sent to Bergues in the far north of France. Philippe expects a hostile, unfamiliar place, but the local post office and its welcoming residents soon challenge everything he believed about the region.
