Vidocq
Paris, 1830. Vidocq, a celebrated detective, is investigating a series of brutal murders linked to the Alchemist, a masked killer who has been pursuing a mysterious method of preserving eternal youth. When Vidocq vanishes during a confrontation with his elusive enemy, his young biographer, Etienne Boisset, refuses to leave the case unresolved. He takes up the investigation himself, following the clues behind the murders and trying to uncover who the Alchemist really is.
