Sam Witwicky is trying to move forward while the Autobots work openly alongside the government’s NEST unit. Their uneasy cooperation changes after a mission in Chernobyl uncovers a mysterious artifact, leading Optimus Prime to suspect that officials have concealed important information. As the investigation turns toward a spacecraft and the dark side of the Moon, Sam and the Autobots are drawn into a conflict that reaches far beyond Earth.
