The Village
In a secluded Pennsylvania village, residents live under an agreement never to cross the surrounding forest, where dangerous creatures are believed to dwell. After a child dies because the community has no medicine, Lucius Hunt asks the elders for permission to travel to the nearest town, but they refuse. As the village’s strict boundaries come under pressure, Lucius and Ivy Walker face a conflict between the rules that protect their home and the need to reach the outside world.
