The Happening

Elliot Moore, a science teacher, and his wife Alma are in Philadelphia when people suddenly begin taking their own lives without any clear reason. As the strange crisis spreads through the northeastern United States, the couple leaves the city with their friend Julian and a young girl named Jess, searching for a safer place. Elliot tries to understand whether they are facing a disease, a deliberate attack or a threat arising from nature itself, while every journey through the countryside brings them closer to the unexplained danger.
