The Tax Collector
David Cuervas is a family man who collects protection money for powerful Los Angeles gang members. He carries out the work alongside his partner, Creeper, pressuring people to pay and dealing with those who refuse. Their routine changes when an old threat returns to the city and begins disrupting the criminal operation, putting David’s family at risk. He must keep collecting for his employers while trying to protect the people closest to him.
