The Reaping

Katherine, a former Christian missionary who abandoned her faith after her family died, now investigates alleged religious miracles to expose their ordinary causes. Her latest case takes her to a small Louisiana town, where a river and the surrounding swamp become the setting for a series of events resembling the Ten Biblical Plagues. As she searches for a rational explanation, the evidence resists her methods and forces her to consider that the town’s horror may involve something beyond human deception.
