The Purity of Vengeance
In 2018 Copenhagen, a disturbing discovery in an old apartment brings Department Q detectives Carl Mørck and Hafez el-Assad to a long-forgotten case. Their investigation points to a girls’ institution that was abruptly shut down in the early 1960s, where the records surrounding Nete and other women raise questions that were never properly answered. With Rose Knudsen assisting them, the detectives begin tracing the connection between the apartment and the institution’s troubled past.
